Meet Nancy: She has served in key leadership positions at the municipal, county, regional and state levels of government and leads the public sector division of ADL Associates, Inc. a nationally known HR consulting firm. Nancy’s background and leadership experience as a Managing Director, Strategic Resources Director and Acting Human Resources Director during her service for the City of Irving, Texas, allowed her to develop a clear focus on accountability and personal responsibility in organizations. Nancy earned her Six Sigma Green Belt and served as Irving’s Organizational Champion overseeing the implementation of process efficiency initiatives that saved millions of tax dollars. At the Governor’s Center for Management Development in Austin, Texas, Nancy facilitated strategic planning and organizational development processes for state leaders to enhance operational effectiveness. At the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Nancy served as Director of Management Consultants evaluating state funded programs for effectiveness and results, and later served as Director of Training for 3,500 community supervision and corrections officers statewide. At the county level, Nancy served as Director of Pre-Trial Release and, at the regional level of government, she served as Director of Criminal Justice for a regional planning commission. Earning a bachelor’s degree in criminology and corrections and Master of Arts in criminal justice equipped her to deal with complex human issues. Nancy is a highly knowledgeable and experienced public servant leader who also understands government from a constituent’s perspective. She served on her community’s Parks Board for three terms overseeing the expansion of recreational program and parks development. Nancy was elected to serve as the Board Chairman for her last two terms bringing city council's priority objectives to fruition. Nancy currently serves as a Charter Review Commissioner for her community. |
